Cookies
Cookies
No profiling cookies. One measurement tool, Google Analytics: until you accept it, it writes no cookies and counts visits only anonymously.
Before you choose
Google Analytics loads on every visit, but until you accept it stays in a denied state: it writes no cookies and records nothing that would let it recognise you or your device from one visit to the next. Meanwhile it may send Google anonymous, cookieless signals: that a page was viewed, that a contact was clicked, that the form was sent. Enough to count visits, not enough to recognise you next time. Like any request to a server, these signals carry the IP address of your connection; according to Google, Analytics 4 does not log or store it. If you choose “No thanks”, or choose nothing at all, it stays that way.
What happens if you accept
Google Analytics 4 (property G-09D2VKVHRQ) is enabled and writes two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_09D2VKVHRQ. They tell one visit from another and last up to two years. They record the pages you view, how long you stay, where you arrived from, your device type and an approximate location. We also record two specific moments: when you click the email address or the phone number (the event is called contact_click and carries only the type of contact and the page the click came from), and when the contact form is sent successfully (generate_lead, with the page). Neither contains your name, your address or what you wrote. Along with your yes we tell Google that you do not consent to any advertising use: ads, ad data and personalisation stay excluded. According to Google, Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We collect no name, email or anything else identifying you: those you give us yourself, by filling in the contact form.
What we use it for
To understand which pages are actually read and which are not, so we know what to rewrite. We do not sell this data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
Google Ireland Limited, as the provider of the service. Google may transfer data outside the European Union under its own contractual safeguards. Google's own policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Changing your mind, at any time
At the bottom of this page there is a button that brings the choice strip back: from there you can switch from yes to no and back. If you switch from yes to no, the _ga cookies already written are deleted from your browser and Google Analytics goes back to its denied state, as before you chose. The choice lives in your browser, not on our server, so if you clear the site's data or use another device you will be asked again.
Technical cookies
The site may use a technical session cookie for the contact form to work. It requires no consent, tracks nothing, and is deleted when you close the browser. Typefaces are served from our own server rather than an external provider, and there is no embedded social media content.
